Kyle Morris and the Golf Room Everywhere Review

Let’s face it, we can all use help with our golf swing from time to time.

If you are looking to take your game to the next level, I would highly recommend finding an instructor or system that fits your personality and your golf swing.

There were a lot of quality options out there in the online golf world or your local club professional can more than likely help as well.

I love the fact that regardless of where you live, you are now able to tap into the knowledge and guidance of the best instructors in the world!

In my opinion, you can add Kyle Morris and the Golf Room Everywhere to the list!

Depending on your current need there are several options a golfer can look into with Kyle Morris and the Golf Room Everywhere.  One can simply follow the program online or sign up for the monthly check ins and guidance that he is able to provide from afar.

I have currently completed his Golf Room Everywhere program and am looking to my next options to continue to receive guidance and support to truly develop a stock shot.

Below, I will dive into the following topics, which can hopefully help you decide if you want to make the time and money investment with this option!

Kyle Morris and the Golf Room Everywhere Review

Topics below include:

  • 1 – Swing Approach/Philosophy
  • 2 – Does the Swing Philosophy of Kyle Morris Set Up for Quality Online Instruction
  • 3 – Simplicity of Instruction – Is it Repeatable?
  • 4 – On Screen Personality
  • 5 – Quality and Quantity of the Content
  • 6 – Online Instruction and Support – Further Content and membership
  • 7 – Overall Can Kyle Morris Help My Game?

Before we get started I believe the three fundamentals of golf include:

  • Fundamental #1: The golfer’s ability to control the bottom of the golf swing.  The best golfers will hit the ground in the intended spot, close to 100% of the time.
  • Fundamental #2: The golfer’s ability to control the curve of the golf ball. The best golfers are able to start the ball to the right or left of the target line and have the ball curve towards the target without the ball over-curving past the target.
  • Fundamental #3: The golfer’s ability to have enough power to play the golf course.  This means they are able to hit the ball far enough to play the course in regulation.

Kyle spends a significant amount of time on fundamental #2, which is something that drives consistency in the golf swing!

You can build your own golf room with your own simulator! See the links at the end for more info! It might cost less than you expect!

1 – Swing Approach/Philosophy

If you are someone seeking to build a stock shot, then Kyle Morris might be perfect for you.  His guidance and instruction is all about helping the golfer develop a stock shot.  One that starts right of the target and draws back to the target without over drawing.  He clearly explains why he believes this is important.

If you are someone that struggles to know where the ball is going to start flying towards and what way it is going to curve then Kyle Morris can help you out.  He starts off to help you get alignment properly and then breaks down every part of the swing to help you build a swing that can last a lifetime.

I was drawn in by the approach to be able to hit a stock shot consistently.  While my normal shot pattern is a draw, I fight the over draw and hook at times.  Recently, I was playing a round of golf where I was over drawing the ball.  Later in the round, it came to mind that I needed to reduce the tension (something I heard on a golf podcast with Kyle Morris) and just like that I started to hit a slight draw again.

There is nothing better in golf than the shot that starts to the right and draws right back to the target.

At the end of the day, every golfer is seeking consistency.  Kyle Morris can help you with this by learning to control the club face as it has a significant impact on the where the ball starts.

You will find that Kyle uses plenty of different tools to help you from alignment sticks, to pool noodles, to cones.  His goal is to ultimately help the golfer become his or her own coach and utilizes these different tools to practice a mechanically sound swing and then take those feels to the golf course.

I appreciate this philosophy and plan on one day making the trip to Columbus, Ohio for a one on one lesson with Kyle.  The ultimate goal would be able to laser shot after shot down the right side with a slight draw and keep the ball in play all day!  Giving yourself plenty of opportunities for birdies!

Overall, Kyle has been impacted by the teachings of Mike Bender.  So if you have come across Mike Bender in the past and have been impressed but can’t find much on Mike Bender, Kyle Morris might be the perfect instructor for you.

2 – Does the Swing Philosophy of Kyle Morris Set up for Quality Instruction

When one compares the numerous swing philosophies in the golf world today, there are swings that are better taught online when compared with others.

I believe through his use of different avoidance tools that the golfers utilizes, along with his go to stock shot drill, one can learn just fine online from Kyle Morris.

My first purchase will be the golf cone to help me take the club back properly and stay in the right swing slot on the way down.  I have a golf simulator setup in my garage and being able to complete drills or avoidance drills in my garage during the winter or even during the golf season will be highly valuable.  I won’t need Kyle there every step of the way, but will be able to check in as needed.

Feedback is key and you have to force motor patterns.

3 – Simplicity of Instruction – Is it Repeatable?

We all want consistency.

How does one gain consistency?

Through club face control, proper alignment and a repeatable motion.  The Kyle Morris approach checks all three of these boxes.  His stock shot drill and teachings around the stock shot are set up to help you gain consistency.  The instruction is easy to understand, there are drills every step of the way and the golfer has plenty to work on to develop an instructionally sound swing.

I appreciate the drills and the avoidance tools that a golfer can use to build a mechanically sound swing.  Without someone looking over your shoulder every step of the way, it is easy to get lost.  However, this approach to drills using a pool noodle, alignment stick or golf cone can go a long way in drilling the proper movements in the golf swing.

So yes, it is simple and repeatable!

4 – On Screen Personality

Kyle Morris is easy to like and easy to respect.  He is someone that played professionally and won professionally!  His center in Dublin, Ohio has all of the high end technology and his approach to providing the best for his students appears to be the real thing.  He comes across as genuine and someone that truly cares about helping his students!

5 – Quality and Quantity of Instruction

I would rate the quality at a 10 out of 10.  The amount of free quantity is limited, but for a reasonable price you are able to purchase a decent amount of quantity.  While he doesn’t have the number of free videos of a Shawn Clement or Mike Malaska, there are some videos on youtube that can get you started!

6 – Online Instruction and Support

One can start off with his basic program, The Golf Room Everywhere, submit a video for a free swing review and then assess whether they want to jump all in with Kyle.  There are some pricey monthly options that are at different levels depending on the amount and frequency of feedback that you are seeking.

7 – Overall, Can Kyle Morris Help My Game?

Yes, but like anything you have to commit to the drills and spend some additional money to get some of the tools that he uses to fully develop the mechanics of the swing.  Like anything it takes patience and some hard work to develop the swing that can produce the results you want.

If you are someone that wants a quality online instructor where you can expand the amount of feedback and guidance with time, then Kyle Morris is a viable option for you!

My Secret To Golf Improvement

Let’s face it, in order to get really good at golf, we must practice frequently.  About three years ago, I made the leap and invested in a golf simulator build for my garage.  I went with a SkyTrak Launch Monitor and the TGC software and can now play over 100,000 courses including Augusta, Pebble Beach, Bethpage Black, Whistling Straits. St. Andrews and many other of the top 100 courses in the world.

This golf simulator setup, which is more affordable that you might imagine, has been a game changer.  I can now play golf everyday of the year regardless of rain, snow, cold weather or time of day.  I can practice or play rounds of golf.  I can stand in the 11th fairway at Augusta and with the auto-rewind feature I am able to practice my approach shots from various differences.

It is worth checking out through Rain or Shine Golf as they offer some incredible packages along with financing offers that are difficult to beat.
