  • By age 14 I was breaking 90 regulary
  • By 16 I was shooting par.
  • By 18 I was breaking par.
  • From 22-32 I didn’t play much golf
  • 32-42 Currently playing at a scratch level!

Of course, this is a general guideline and there are many other factors that can affect what is considered a good golf score. Of course the greatest scores of all time are 58 or 59. However, most professionals never even reach this level!

My Story: Best Score Ever

I have broken 70 on many differnt occasions. My best score of all time was a 65 on a 6500 yard country club like golf course. It was a magically round where I made 8 birdies and 1 bogey.

If a golfer can shot 45 or better they have achieved a good score.

The 45 puts the golfer at around bogey golf. When a golfer can play bogey golf or better they are keeping the ball in play, hitting some greens and can put around average.

Is 99 A Good Golf Score?

Only for the beginner golfer. Once you have played for 1-2 years, your goal should be to break 90 and play at least bogey golf.
